The Doctor

This is the final version of my Doctor Who wallpaper. As you can see, it is a picture of the 11th Doctor (Matt Smith) in space. I used eleven layers of the 11th Doctor, four of which were High Passes. I chose the text tutorial because it had the approximate color scheme and Sci-Fi vibe I wanted. The hardest part of this assignment, was finding a large, high resolution picture of the the Doctor that had not already been altered in to oblivion.
Here are my source images:

Here's is the text tutorial I refferenced:

My Name in Rainbow

Using a tutorial (http://www.adobetutorialz.com/articles/30970817/1/create-happy-new-year-2012-colorful-greeting-card-photoshop-cs5), I made a card with my name in rainbow-letters. I accomplished this by making about 100 circles with various gradients and setting them behind an outline of my name.
